Imagine 18 Holes of golf nestled within one of the most
pristine plantations along the Atlantic coastline.
Designed and Built by Greg Norman in 2001
We dream of getting a site like this one and since this is our first course in the lowcountry, we want to make it something special.

Renovated by Norman Golf in 2017
Oldfield’s commitment to deliver excellent playing conditions to their members is remarkable and I am confident these renovations will provide continued enjoyment for years to come.
- Greg Norman, 2017
The Oldfield course offers Members year-round play on a 7,133-yard, par-72 course. Updated in 2017 in collaboration with Norman golf, the course features creative approaches, four types of grasses, new sod-walled bunkers, and expansive waste bunkers – all visible Norman hallmarks. His appreciation of the landscape - "We dream of getting a site like this one," - is clearly evidenced by the way the course winds across broad savannas of broomgrass, through grassy meadows, and over fresh and saltwater ponds up to the marshes of the Okatie River. Groves of live oaks frame fairways that blend softly into their surroundings. With six sets of tees, the course is customizable to your game.
Seriously, we do just over 12, 000 rounds a year on a Greg Norman Signature Course that’s in pristine condition…golf just doesn’t get any better.
